title: "Love As Laughter"
description: "Love as Laughter is an artist or group associated with Sub Pop through releases, singles, or participation in the label’s Singles Club programme. Sub Pop has historically used limited singles and targeted releases to spotlight both emerging and established acts, often giving artists a platform outside of traditional album cycles. Love as Laughter’s appearance in the Sub Pop ecosystem reflects the label’s ongoing interest in stylistic diversity, spanning punk, indie rock, experimental music and beyond. Whether as an early-career highlight or a later-period collaboration, their Sub Pop involvement places them within a lineage of artists connected to the label’s independent ethos, physical-format focus, and curatorial approach to documenting contemporary underground music."
