## Our commitment

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of the site’s design, content and engineering work rather than as a final add-on.

## What the site supports

- Semantic page landmarks, headings, lists, links and native controls.
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Responsive layouts that reflow at narrow widths and support browser zoom.
- Text and interactive-state contrast designed to meet AA requirements.
- Server-rendered catalogue content that remains meaningful without client-side interaction.
- Alternative text and intrinsic dimensions for informative catalogue images as they are added.
- Motion kept subtle and non-essential, with no information conveyed by colour alone.

## Known limitations

The photographic archive is still being assembled. Where release, volume or artist photography is unavailable, the site uses a labelled visual placeholder instead of a broken or ambiguously described image.

Some older artist biographies are initial catalogue notes and are being reviewed for editorial quality. External sites linked from catalogue entries are outside our control and may not meet the same accessibility standard.

## Testing

New public templates are checked with automated accessibility tooling, keyboard navigation and responsive visual review. Automated tests cannot identify every barrier, so manual feedback remains important.

## Tell us about a problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, use the [contact form](https://subpopsinglesclub.com/contact). Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and—if you are comfortable sharing it—the browser or assistive technology involved.

We will acknowledge useful reports and aim to provide the requested information in an accessible alternative while a permanent fix is investigated.

## Statement status

This statement was prepared on 28 August 2026 and will be reviewed as the catalogue, photography archive and interactive features develop.
